Hmmmmm...... How Cum...... ?

I just emptied my full dishwasher. How cum the silverware rack was chock full and in addition there were mixing bowls, measuring cups, coffee mugs, a multitude of other cooking implements (whisks, spatulas, tongs, ladles).... but only ONE plate?????
